My Big Adventure

Hi

This is Toto here today. My Second Kor Kor, Scruffy, says I should share with you my big adventure.

Like Kor Kor says it started Sunday morning. We saw the gate open and Kor Kor said let's go for an adventure so I followed him out. I knew this was wrong because the parents always scolded us for going out but my Kor Kor said it was OK. If not, they would have closed the gate. So I went.

We did come to a fork in the road and I told Kor Kor I didn't want to go anymore. I wanted to go home. Actually it was because I saw the big road in front and frankly I got a bit scared. He didn't want to go home so I told him I would turn back.

Unfortunately this where I went wrong. I went into the wrong fork in the road and wound up in a small lane. I walked a bit trying to find my scent so that I could follow it home. But I couldn't find it.

Then something very scary happened. I came to the gate of another house and there were 2 big German Shephard dogs there. They were really fierce. They scolded me and yelled at me. I was so scared I couldn't move. I almost peed!

They made such a racket that their hooman came out to see what was going on. The kind man took one look at my scared pathetic face and knew I was lost. I was really terrified by then you know. Lucky for me he checked my name tag which I also wear all the time and he called my Daddy. He was also kind enough to take me home as he only lived 5 minutes away.

I tell you I will never listen to that Kor Kor again. He got me into so much trouble. I knew I should never have gone outside by ourselves. He made everyone so upset and we got such a scolding after that. I swear I will never go outside again without permission.

Its really not my fault. It was all Kor Kor.

Scruff :

Toto is lying. He wanted to go out as much as me. He didn't have to follow me. Next time I will never take him anywhere.

Hi Toto, you poor thing. I'm glad you are home safe. My kor kor, Jose, is just like yours. He has a mind of his own and usually doesn't come back when called. He also runs out of the house when the gate is open, and he will run away even faster when you call out to him! Unlike you and me, who are such good boys, right?

Hi, Toto.
Please don't do that again. You never know what kind of things would happen to you being alone there at the street.
Nice to hear that man took you home!
I am so happy to hear that your adventure had a happy end!!
Have a good night

All this sounds pretty bad to me. I think you were both at fault, since you both did it. Anyway, what is important is that you are both home safe. Hurray for name tags!!

Whew!!!
